Every Thursday morning at 7:15am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City brings in the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.[

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation’s top ten animal shelters.

All of the animals are spayed/neutered, vaccinated and micro-chipped before adoption. All animals also receive an Alumni Card which entitles them to a 10% lifetime discount for veterinary services at the Humane Society of Ocean City clinic.

This week we met Merlin the cat...

Here is some information on Merlin from the Humane Society of Ocean City:

“Merlin is a two year old tiger stripped cat who was found abandoned in a local shop. He is very friendly, outgoing and energetic. He is good with cats, kids and, most likely, dogs.

Merlin is neutered, vaccinated, micro chipped and he along with all animals adopted through the HSOC receive a 10% lifetime discount to our veterinary center.

Through May 31,  we are running a cat adoption special. All cats adoption fees have been dropped to $35 and if you adopt two cats you receive and additional $10 off.

Come be a part of our BIG 55th year celebration of servicing our local community by adopting one....or two of our fantastic felines"
