Everything is closed, canceled or postponed at this point, concerts, sporting events, dining out, and for most people work. So what are we supposed to do with all this free time? It is slowly becoming more and more challenging to come up with activities to do when we are bored. Well, here is a list of 10 things that we can do to overcome boredom.

    Do A Puzzle

    Now this can be a normal puzzle, a crossword puzzle, or even something like a Rubix cube. The more pieces or words the better. You can do a little bit each day and kill some time while working your brain.

    It is the perfect time to try out that recipe you've been dying to try. The best part about it is if it turns out awful, you can just pop that frozen pizza in your oven and save the dinner.

    Learn A New Skill

    Try knitting or crocheting, make some hats, blankets, anything you want because remember you have the time to do so.

    Try Yoga

    Get your body moving in a nice simple beginner level of yoga. You'll get some nice stretching in while also getting to relax and clear your mind.

    Coloring isn't just for kids. It can be very relaxing and fun to do. So go ahead and “borrow” your kids coloring book and get some good use out of it.

    Take a day off from trying to find things to do all day and just binge watch something good. It can be funny, or serious, or even romantic, just don't forget the snacks.

    Odds are there will never be another time before you retire that you don't have to wake up to an alarm to get ready and leave for work, so take advantage of this time and sleep in every now and then and give yourself some well deserved rest.
