See Six South Jersey Lifeguards in Action

For a number of summers, Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG has featured photos of South Jersey lifeguards on our website in a voting contest called "Save Your Lifeguard!"

Many of the photos submitted are from the guards or their friends or fellow lifeguards.

I have picked six of my favorite action shots from the past two years, 2018 and 2019, for a gallery of lifeguard photos we think you will enjoy.

The guards work at beaches from Wildwood Crest to Beach Haven, LBI. There are  three men and three women, any of whom I would gladly welcome to save my life if the circumstances dictated.
