Head to Cape May Point tonight for the 12th Annual Cape May Point Women's Lifeguard Challenge at the St. Pete's Beach!

The fun kicks off at 6:30 PM and will feature a record 50 top female lifeguards who will compete in a sprint triathlon which includes a 1.3-mile run on the beach, a 1-mile ocean paddle and a half-mile ocean swim.

Yowza….some days I struggle just to get off the couch. LOL

"We have a lot of returnees," said race director, Kristen Moorby. "Once they've done it once, they learn to capitalize on their strengths and learn what to train harder for."

Plus, there are quite a few returning champions that will be racing later on today: 2018 champion, Adrienne Bilello of Wildwood Crest is back to defend her title along with the only three-time winner, Jenna Parker of Harvey Cedars.

Good luck to all of the competitors!

And for the rest of you, definitely do your best to attend so you can cheer them on as they go!
