Peanut butter has gotten a bad rap for being fattening, but here's the thing...It's really is OK to eat peanut butter!

It's got fiber and protein (both good), and it fills you up and keeps you full longer, so you tend to eat less in the long run.  So that's a plus.  It's packed with nutrition, and it's got the good fat.  Peanut butter is loaded with heart-healthy monounsaturated fat.

But here's the thing...you should stick to organic peanut butter.  Why? Non-organic peanut butters can be high in pesticides and fungus and contain aflatoxin, a potential carcinogen.  Yikes!  So, go organic and start spreading the news...and the peanut butter!  :)
