The warm weather is finally here, and to help celebrate the arrival of summer, we're asking you to share your favorite summertime memories.

For me, it would have to be spending summer vacation with my friends on the Wildwood Boardwalk. As soon as school let out, we would all pile into 3 or 4 cars and head right to Wildwood. We would stay at a inexpensive motel which was located just a couple of blocks from the boardwalk. Sometimes we would all cram into one room and hope the owner of the motel wouldn't catch us.

Mornings would be spent on the beach, afternoons would be spent on of the baseball fields playing softball, and of course every night called for long walks on the boards, sometimes until two or three in the morning. I would always stop at a stand that had a radio as a prize.

One summer I finally won one after playing for most of the week. Little did I know the radio was worth about a buck and I spent over $20 trying to win it. Not to mention that it ended up breaking after 2 days.

Dinner would usually be at Italian restaurant at the end of the boardwalk. The dinner special was all you can eat spaghetti for only 99 cents. I'm sure the owner of the restaurant hated to see us come in night after night. We would be sure to eat enough for three meals.

Check out this video of the boardwalk during the Summer of 1974. This video brought me right back to spending my summers with my friends in Wildwood.
