Every Thursday morning at 7:10 am on the Lite Rock Morning Show, the Humane Society of Ocean City introduces the new Lite Rock Pet of the Week.

If you are thinking about adding a pet to your family, please consider adopting from the Humane Society of Ocean City, a no-kill shelter recognized as one of the nation's top ten animal shelters.

This week we met Vader the cat...

Here's some information on Vader from the Humane Society of Ocean City...

"Vader is a super adventurous 3-year-old male cat. Those big green eyes help him explore new areas that he’s curious about, checking out the cats and dogs that he crosses paths with, and keeping an eye on the toys that he tosses around.

Vader is very talkative, playful, loving, and has a big appetite. Vader has a lot to say and has high energy, so he is sure to liven up any household.

He has a personality that makes him a good fit fur most homes, pending a proper meet and greet.

Please contact one of our adoption counselors for more information. All cats are up to date with vaccines and have been spayed or neutered. The HSOC also provides each pet adopted by us with a 10% lifetime discount to our veterinary center."
