For us, back-to-school is one of the most exciting times of the entire year, and to celebrate we want to award one lucky South Jersey student a very special prize!

Class is in session. Sadly, legions of kids know this to be true, as they begin to head back to school for another year of filling their brains with knowledge.

College kids are getting ready to go back and in about a month school will start back up. Back to school shopping can be quite costly, but it doesn't have to be.

To celebrate the start of a brand new school year, we invited you to submit pictures of your child heading back to school. We then had the tough task of narrowing down the entries to 12 finalists for you all to vote on.

Summer doesn't officially end until September 22nd, but for many this weekend marks the unofficial end of the summer of 2016.

It should come as no surprise that Lite Rock 96.9 is a huge supporter of education in South Jersey. So for us (and hopefully your kids too), it's one of the most exciting times of the entire year - back to school! As sports tryouts begin with the new school year, many New Jersey parents will be faced with disappointed players who won't make the final cut.

Back-to-school time is upon us. Some families in South Jersey found themselves with an empty nest for the first time ever as their children packed up and went off to college to start the school year. Others are gearing up for another year at one of our local schools.
