The 2019/2020 school year will be here before you know it. Throughout the school year, thousands of students will be challenged and influenced to dream big and pursue higher education thanks to so many hard working and dedicated teachers.

The State Department of Education has released their list of the top teachers in the Garden State, according to NJ.com. One teacher has been recognized from every county in New Jersey and will now be in the running for the Teacher of the Year award for the entire state.

In Atlantic County, congratulations to Leslie Kronemeyer who teaches Spanish at Mainland Regional High School in Linwood.

Cape May County will be represented by Thomas Belasco who teaches English at Cape May Regional High School in Lower Township.

Congratulations and good luck to all of New Jersey's hard working, inspired and dedicated teachers!
