When it comes to education, the Garden State gets a big A+ according to a new report just released for the 2020 school year.

NJ.com reports that New Jersey tops the entire nation, for the second year in a row, in the just released Quality Counts survey from Education Week.

The Garden State is top notch for student achievement and for how much money it spends to fund and support the education system. Overall New Jersey gets a B+ grade and a score of 87.3 out of 100 to earn the title as the #1 state in the nation for education. Even with 2020 being such a challenging and difficult school year due to  COVID-19.

Massachusetts comes in second with a score of 86.7 out of 100. Connecticut, Maryland and Wisconsin round out the Top 5 schools in the country for Education. While  Louisiana, Alabama, Nevada, Oklahoma and New Mexico round south the bottom 5 schools. .

Congratulation to all of the hard working teachers in New Jersey for all that they do to help make a difference in a student's life.
