This year’s Read Across America Day is Wednesday, March 2 and the Lite Rock Morning Show’s Eddie Davis is looking for a school class to help celebrate.


The NEA’s Read Across America Day is a nationwide reading celebration that takes place annually on March 2—Dr. Seuss’s birthday.

Across the country, thousands of schools, libraries, and community centers participate by bringing together kids, teens, and books, and you can too! Incorporate these guides and activities to celebrate reading with young people.

I love the idea and I’ve have been a part of the celebration for years, going to South Jersey schools to read to kids.
