In 1974, Blondie pushed punk onto the new wave dance floor and helped introduce hip-hop to the world.

Now, after 40 years, the band is celebrating a proud legacy by bringing their 40th Anniversary Tour to Atlantic City.

To celebrate its 40th years together, Blondie is not merely looking back but continuing to move forward, with a new two-disc package of music.

Blondie 4(0) Ever, which includes a greatest hits album and a brand new album was just released.

The Greatest Hits disc sees the band saluting its storied past by reprising eleven of its biggest songs in a set of new studio recordings that sound just as impeccable, fresh and fun as the first time we heard them.

On Ghosts Of Download, the group also brings their journey right up to date with 12 brand-new tracks.

Blondie will perform a 40th anniversary concert in the Tropicana Showroom, Saturday, May 24th.

Singer Debbie Harry says to expect music, fashion and an experience that moves you.   "Today, people really like to be exposing themselves constantly.  It's almost like everybody's some kind of an intellectual flasher."

So, how does Blondie sound 40 years later,  in 2014? Harry explains. "Even though technologically, and technically as musicians, we've changed and improved, you know, there is definitely a continuity.  And that's kind of perfect, really.

Tickets are available though Ticketmaster or via phone at 1-800-736-1420 or at the Tropicana Box Office
