Atlantic City was hit hard when the COVID-19 pandemic struck, leaving thousands of casino workers without jobs.

While Governor Murphy has yet to announce any plans to reopen casinos, hotels have been allowed to stay open throughout the length of the state mandated quarantine. The shutdown of the casinos also meant a temporary end to stays within the hotel-portions of the properties as well.

Now, it looks as if three of Atlantic City's casino properties plan on taking room reservations once again starting as early as next week. NJ.com reports that Hard Rock Hotel and Casino will open up for hotel reservations the Thursday after Memorial Day, May 28th. Three other casino properties, Caesars, Resorts, and the Tropicana all plan on opening up reservations the first week of June.

Not all Atlantic City casinos are following suit, though. Many of the casinos uptown do not plan on offering reservations again until much later this summer.
