Weekend Happenings: Ventnor’s Go Green Boat Parade, Trop’s Fireworks, Maloney’s Reunion + More

Here's are some possibilities for a fun-filled weekend in South Jersey.

It's mid-summer and your choices span the horizon; live music, cool parties, an old-fashioned fish fry or Ventnor's one-of-a-kind econ-friendly Go Green Boat Parade.

Or you might opt to visit a farmer's market or catch the new 'Mission: Impossible' flick in 3-D on the IMAX at the Quarter.

Let me suggest Saturday's fireworks on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. Every Saturday thru mid-September, Tropicana Casino and Resort is presenting free fireworks, accompanied by the Trop's new Multimedia Sound and Light Show.

The fireworks, produced by the famed Grucci family, are wonderful. The show starts at 10pm.
