Ten years have passed since the final last call at Maloney's Tavern, Margate's legendary watering hole, which closed on Labor Day 2005.

For over 35 years, the Washington Avenue bar with the low ceiling and the delicious roast beef sandwiches was a favorite of locals and tourists alike.

These days, a townhouse complex stands in its place, but the Maloney's memories live on.

Saturday at Margate's Log Cabin, hundreds of people from the old Maloney's crew will get back together to remember "The Zoo", as it was called by locals, at the "Maloney's Recall: Last Call Reunion".

The Maloney's Reunion, Saturday, August 1st from from 5-10pm benefits the Donny Fund and the Tara Miller Melanoma Foundation.

Steve Moore & the MIA Band, who played Maloney's final night party ten years ago, and the Irish band, The Flynn's will provide live music for the reunion.

They will be joined by three well-known Maloney's DJ's from back-in-the-day; Tony Venuto, Joe "Sparkles" Nickels and Kenny Sloan.

Tickets are $20 and will be available at the door.

Here's a video flashback to Maloney's circa 2002...
