9 South Jersey Opening Days That Remind Us Summer Is Coming

I'm always majorly bummed out in the fall when shops start to close for the season, but the good news is that summer will soon be here. Here's a list of places that remind me of summertime and will soon be opening for the season. I can't wait to visit them again!

Johnny B Goode Ice Cream Parlor - Ocean City
Location: 14th and Asbury Avenue.
Opening Day: May 6th for the spring block party.
I can't wait to try a Hunka Hunka Chocolate Sundae!

Johnson's Popcorn - Wildwood/Ocean City
Location: Ocean City and Wildwood Boardwalks
Opening Day: OC Boardwalk is open, Wildwood boardwalk locations is open on weekends, but opens for the season on June 15th.
I honestly could live on the caramel and chocolate drizzle popcorn, which are my two favorites.

Steel Pier - Atlantic City
Location: Atlantic City boardwalk
Opening Day: This iconic stretch of the world famous boardwalk is now open on the weekends, and will be open full time on May 27th to kick off the Memorial Day weekend!

Landshark Beach Bar - Atlantic City
Location: Atlantic City Boardwalk
Opening Day: One of my favorite places to relax and unwind is now open from 9 PM to close.
The snow crab legs with red bliss potatoes are awesome!

Manco & Manco Pizza - Ocean City
Location: Ocean City Boardwalk
Opening Day: A sure sigh that summer is coming is having a slice of pie at Manco & Manco located on the famous Ocean City Boardwalk.

Mack's Pizza - Wildwood
Location: Wildwood Boardwalk
Opening Day: One of the best tomato pies in Wildwood located on the boardwalk. Mack's is already open for the weekend!

Yum Yums Ice Cream - Sea Isle City

Opening Day: Who doesn't love ice cream? Yum Yums will be open starting May 6th for the Mother's Day weekend.
There are so many frozen yogurt varieties to choose from!

OC Water Park - Ocean City
Location: Ocean City Boardwalk
Opening Day: Here's a great way to cool off on a hot summer day. OC Water Park will open for weekends starting Memorial Day weekend.

Fantasy Island Park and Arcade - LBI
Location: 7th Street in Beach Haven on Long Beach Island.
Opening Day: Summer season kick off happens on May 21st.
This was a favorite destination for my boys during the summer. They never wanted to leave!
