Weekend Happenings: Father’s Day, Skimmer Festival, Miss New Jersey & More

Father's Day Weekend promises to be another beautiful weekend in South Jersey, jammed with fun things to do, shows to see, and places to go.

Or,  you might be looking forward to a do-nothing-special-at-all weekend.  A-sleep-late, curl-up-with a-book, eat-bagels-for-breakfast, then-play-cards-on-the-patio-in-your-pajamas-kind of weekend sounds pretty good to me!

- Cape May: Join Lite rock 96.9 at The Naval Air Station Wildwood Aviation Museum is having a Runway 5K & 1 mile fun walk on Saturday, 6/14 starting on the runway of the Cape May Airport and ending at the historic Hangar 1. Pre-registration is at 7am, with the event starting at 9am. All proceeds benefit the restoration efforts of Hangar 1, which is listed on both the National and State of NJ.
