Weekend Happenings: Crab Fest, LBGT Sand Blast, Lucy’s Birthday Party & More

Happy birthday to Margate's beloved resident pachyderm, Lucy the Elephant.  Created as a tourist attraction in 1881, Lucy has endured quite a bit in her 133 years along the Margate shore, and the old girl still looks pretty good!

Join me and Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG Saturday between 10a-8p for Lucy's Birthday Bash, featuring a rock climbing wall, water slide, dunk tank and a bouncy for the kids and a party for all of her special friends. Proceeds will go toward Lucy's upkeep.  When's the last time you took a tour of Lucy?
