Weekend Happenings - A.C. Cinefest, Hayrides, Fall Festival

The eighth annual Atlantic City Cinefest, formally the Downbeach Film Festival, returns this weekend with a full lineup of feature, short and documentary films being shown at Dante Hall Theater and the Noyes Arts Garage.

Films include the New jersey premiere of A Rising Tide, director Ben Hickernell's tale of a young chef, Sam Rama (Hunter Parrish, Weeds) who, after the destruction of his family’s well-established Atlantic City restaurant during Hurricane Sandy, must grow up quickly, taking the biggest risks of his life, both in business and love.
