South Jersey School District Cancels Practices Due to COVID-19

An athlete from Salem County has tested positive for the coronavirus after attending a house part in Sea Isle City. As a result, the summer practices for the 2020-2021 seasons for the Penns Grove-Carney's Point school district. The superintendent didn't really have a choice, did she?
According to NJ.com, the athlete is currently observing the 14-day quarantine mandate. The superintendent informed families of the positive case and her decision this week and also encouraged the families to closely monitor all within the households in an effort to identify any symptoms that could turn out to be due to COVID-19.
No other student or athlete in the district has reported a positive test as of yet.
