Sir Paul McCartney Will Perform at the Summer Olympics

Beatles legend Paul McCartney has confirmed he will close the opening ceremony at the

London Olympics. It's been rumoured the that McCartney would be performing to close out the the opening ceromonies of the Olympics on July 27th. The full lineup will be announced at a later date.

 A cast of about 15,000 is expected to feature in the opening and closing ceremonies for the summer  Olympics and Paralympic Games which will be held in London this summer  from July 27 to Aug. 12.
