Lite Rock Helps Welcome Local Produce and Crafts Market to Ventnor Wednesday

Lite Rock 96.9 WFPG will be on hand this Wednesday, June 6th, as the Ventnor International Farmers Market opens for the first time of its weekly summer schedule.  The market will will be open Wednesdays from 3-7:30p.m. through September 12th in the parking lot of the St James Church at the corner of Atlantic and Newport Avenues.

The idea is to bring together local Jersey... produce, food from local restaurants, baked goods, cheese and seafood from the Garden State. More than a dozen local vendors  are already signed up to sell their products. The hope is to include local crafts people to offer their wares and to encourage local musicians to participate as well.

Lite Rock will be a part of the grand opening festivities Wednesday afternoon, along with fun and games for the kids.

The Ventnor Beautification Committee hopes people leaving the beach for the afternoon on Wednesdays will make the Farmers Market a stop on their way home!
