This season's Yule-time TV line-up kicks off this week with favorites like The Grinch, Rudolph, Santa Claus  and Jimmy Stewart.  Here's a day-by-day listing of the week's Christmas offerings, some... of which will be on again later in the season...

Monday (11/28)  "Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas"  (8 p.m., ABC-TV)  This is one of my favorites, narrated by the great Boris Karloff.

Tuesday (11/29)  "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer"(8 p.m. on CBS)  Burl Ives tells the story p.m.of the odd-ball reindeer.

 

Wednesday (11/30)  Christmas in Rockefeller Center (8p.m.  on NBC) The official lighting of the giant tree with performances by Michael Buble, Tony Bennett, Faith Hill, Carole King and the Radio City Rockettes

 

Thursday (12/1)

-"Santa Claus is Comin' to Town" (8p.m. on ABC)  Kriss Kringle takes on the evil Burgermeister to become Santa Claus, narrated by Mickey Rooney

-"The Santa Claus" (7p.m. on ABC Family)  Tim Allen stars.

 

Saturday (12/3) " It's a Wonderful Life" (8 p.m. on NBC) Jimmy Stewart is a  suicidal man helped by a guardian angel in the 1946 classic.
