It’s time for Lite Rock’s Holiday Food Drive to benefit The Community Food Bank of New Jersey-Southern Branch and we need your help more than ever this year.  The Community Food Bank has seen a whopping 40% increase in need over the last two years, and they’ve responded by increasing their distribution of foods from 23 million pounds to 37 million pounds.  More people are struggling and out of work and really need our help this holiday season, so we have expanded the Lite Rock Holiday Food Drive to four days over the next three weekends, beginning this Saturday from 11-1pm at the Galloway Shoprite on Pitney Road filling a truck from Gentilini Ford in Woodbine with your donations.  Most needed items include; canned tuna, boxed pastas, rice, potatoes, mac and cheese, canned veggies and fruits and peanut butter.  We’ll also be collecting frozen Thanksgiving turkeys.  The food stays here in South Jersey and helps local people have a happier holiday!  When you help, we’ll put you in the running for Hall & Oats concert tickets and you’ll experience some of the real feeling of the holiday season.
