There's nothing like watching a free movie with the family under the stars on a warm summer night. Bring your beach chair, blankets and of course lots of popcorn and take advantage of the free movies series in South Jersey including:Avalon: The Big Beach Movie takes place 8:45 p.m. every Tuesday at the 30th Street beach. This Tuesday the movie is “Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted,”

Cape May:  Movies at the Beach is 8:30 p.m. every Thursday on the beach near Cape May Convention Hall. The next movie is August 1st,  “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe”.  Admission is free; no beach tags are required for beach access.

Sea Isle City:  Free Movie Under the Stars is held at dusk every Tuesday at Excursion Park on JFK Boulevard and Pleasure Avenue. ThisTuesday you can watch “Mirror Mirror” starring Julia Roberts.

Stone Harbor: Movies on the Lawn is 8:30 p.m. every Wednesday on the grass of the Stone Harbor School on 94th Street between Third and Second avenues. This Wednesday you can watch “Space Jam,” rated PG.
