Garrison, the drama department director and one-time Lite Rock Teacher of the Month told Shore News Today the Absegami's Drama Department was one of 50 American high schools chosen to participate in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Summer 2018.

The Edinburgh Festival Fringe is the largest arts festival in the world and takes place every August for three weeks in Edinburgh, Scotland’s capital city.

Every year thousands of performers take to hundreds of stages all over Edinburgh to present shows for every taste. Included in the application process was video of Absegami’s recent performances of "Sweeney Todd," "Our Town" and "Spamalot."

The Absegami Emanon Players drama program does a wonderful job! Make plans to see their spring production of Mary Poppins, Fri-Sun. March 10-12 at Absegami High School.
