$40 Million Dollar Powerball Ticket Sold in The Garden State

Someone in New Jersey is $40 million dollars richer today after hitting Wednesday's Powerball jackpot.

The winning ticket according to 4 New York.com was sold in Teaneck, New Jersey. The ticket is worth $26.9 million before taxes if the winner opts for a lump-sum payment.

The winning numbers were 7, 19, 23, 50 and 54 and the Powerball number was 14. The winner has yet to come forward to claim his or her jackpot.

The month of March has been good to tri-state lottery players. A Powerball winner from Staten Island won a jackpot worth $136 million and a $58 Mega Millions winning ticket was purchased in New York City.
