If you're wondering when the first snowflakes will fall this year in South Jersey, experts from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association's Climate center released a handy map of their predictions.

The map takes into account historical snowfall data from 1981-2010...however, it's not the average date of the first actual snowfall, but rather "the date by which there’s a 50% chance at least 0.1” of snow will have accumulated."

Okay then.

So in terms of 2015's first snow, it seems we're on the clock - our first snowfall is predicted between November 16-30.

I'm so not excited. How many days until spring?
