The B-Street Band has been performing cover songs from 'The Boss' and entertaining crowds for close to 40 years, but they won't be entertaining the crowd at the Garden State Inaugural Ball on Thursday.

After some intense pressure and media backslash the B-Streeters have cancelled their appearance to play for President-Elect Trump's Inauguration. According to NJ.com, the band felt disrespectful to Bruce Springsteen, who strongly supported Hillary Clinton during the election last fall.

This was the statement from the B-Street Band according to Backstreets.com, a Bruce Springsteen fan site:

"With deepest apologies to our fans and the New Jersey Inaugural Ball committee, the B Street Band is withdrawing from performing at this year's inauguration Gala. Our decision is based SOLELY on the respect and gratitude we have for Bruce and the E Street Band."

The band may now face legal action since they signed a contract in 2013 to play at the Garden State Inaugural Ball. Celine Dion, Andrea Bocelli, Elton John and Garth Brooks are among other artists who have also declined to perform at the Inauguration for Donald Trump.
