Last night we welcomed the summer solstice and the official start of the summer of 2016. We also were treated to a ultra rare summer phenomenon, a Strawberry Full Moon.

The last time this happened, was the 'Summer of Love' back in 1967. The next time this rare summer occurrence will take place in 46 years (in the summer of 2062).

Check out some of the photos I took last night from the beach. These aren't the greatest shots, the clouds certainly didn't help the quality of the photos, or it could have been that I haven't cleaned the camera lens on my phone in quite some time. My boys are always after me to make sure I do this on a regular basis. Oh well, I think I still captured the moment.

Do you have any Strawberry Full Moon photos to share with us?
