‘Read Across South Jersey Tour’ Stops at A.C.’s Texas Ave School [AUDIO]

“Eddie’s Read Across South Jersey Tour”, a week of visits to South Jersey classrooms to encourage students to love to read, continued Tuesday at the Texas Avenue School in Atlantic City.

The Reading Tour, in commemoration of Dr. Seuss' birthday, is promoting a lifetime love of reading.

Tuesday I met and talked with a friendly group of first-graders at Texas Avenue School.

We had fun reading “Green Eggs and Ham" and talking about how important it is to develop good reading skills.

The first-graders at Texas Ave. School were the best!  We had BIG FUN!

Eddie’s Read Across South Jersey Tour continues Wednesday when I will visit Cape May City Elementary School.

- Thursday: Ross School in Margate

- Friday: Middle Township Elementary School # 1 in Cape May Court House.
