Did you ever make plans, and then they fell through?  Or you were really looking forward to something you planned, and afterwards you realized they weren't all that?

There's nothing worse than making plans and being disappointed in the end.  That's why I simply don't make plans much anymore.  It's difficult to coordinate plans with other people, especially when their schedules are as busy as mine.  I constantly make plans (in my head) but I often don't follow through with them.  They sound good on paper, but in the end they just never quite work out.
A couple of weeks ago I thought it might be fun to go out to a Mexican restaurant for Cinco de Mayo.  I asked a friend, but she wasn't feeling well.  So I ended up going grocery shopping instead, and I bought myself Mexican bean chili in honor of Cinco de Mayo.  LOL.  After I left the store, I happened to drive by a Mexican restaurant which I had never seen before.  I turned around and drove back to the place.  I walked in and there was one open table.  I knew then that it was meant to be!

Sometimes the best plans are no plans at all.  :)
