Get Ready for Miss America 2018 in Atlantic City

A date has been set for the 97th anniversary of the Miss America Pageant. Once again, the pageant will call Atlantic City home.

The Press of Atlantic City reports that the Miss America competition will take place live from Boardwalk Hall. Miss America 2018 will be crowned on September 10th and the pageant will be live on ABC TV.

The extremely popular Show Us Your Shoes parade will make its way down the Atlantic City boardwalk on Saturday, September 9th. The Miss America preliminary competition is also scheduled for three days leading up to the crowning of the new Miss America.

I had such an awesome experience broadcasting live at the Welcome Miss America ceremonies on the boardwalk. I also had the chance to meet Miss America 2017, Savvy Shields, who was so gracious and nice to us when she visited the Lite Rock studios.
