Buffalo is the latest stop on the NFL journey of Greg Roman.

The Ventnor native and Holy Spirit High School graduate will be officially introduced today as the offensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills.

Roman held the same position for the past four seasons with the San Francisco 49ers. His future in San Francisco came into question when head coach Jim Harbaugh left to coach the University of Michigan.

Roman joins new Bills head coach Rex Ryan, who was fired last week by the New York Jets. Ryan and Roman previously worked together as assistants for the Baltimore Ravens.

In addition to his coaching jobs in the NFL and college football, Greg Roman spent a season coaching for his alma mater Holy Spirit Spartans in 2008. Roman graduated from Holy Spirit in 1990.  He has also been previously considered for head coaching positions at the University of Pittsburgh and Penn State University.

Roman is very well-known and liked here in South Jersey.  You can use the comments section below to congratulate Greg Roman on his new job in the NFL.
