Two-time U.S. Women’s Olympic gold medalist Carli Lloyd was back on the soccer fields in South Jersey today to show off her latest asset from the London Olympic games.

The Olympics are over for the more than 10,000 athletes who completed in London, including 20 from here in New Jersey.

US Olympic gymnast Gabby Douglas won perhaps the most coveted title in her sport when she took the gold medal in the women’s all-around competition on Thursday in London, becoming the first African-American female gymnast to ever win individual Olympic gold.

American swimmer Michael Phelps became the most decorated athlete in Olympic history Tuesday, while the United States and China remained tied atop the overall medal count of the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Here’s a recap of the day’s Olympic action:
