Singer Andy Williams Dies at 84

Sad news to report. Singer Andy Williams passed away Tuesday night at his home in Branson, Mo. The cause was complications from cancer.Andy Williams was  know for his silky smooth voice and his signature song "Moon River". 

   " Moon River” became the theme song for his musical-variety television series “The Andy Williams Show,” which, along with his family-oriented Christmas TV specials, made him a household name.

“The Andy Williams Show” ran on NBC from 1962 to 1971 and won three Emmy Awards for outstanding variety series.

Of course Andy Willimas is a fixture on Lite Rock  during the Christmas Season with Happy Holiday's and "It's The Most Wondeful Time of the Year"
