Safe Boating Course Needed Before Summer Fun on the Water-Classes Forming in Mays Landing & Linwood

If you bought a new boat or jet ski over the winter, you'll need a New Jersey Boat safety certificate before you can enjoy it this summer.  New Jersey state law mandates that anyone operating a personal watercraft , jet ski, wave runner or any vessel with a motor possess a certificate. People sometimes... confuse  the safety certificate with a boat license.  A boat license is a separate document and an additional requirement.  The license regulates the boat, the safety certificate ensures you have learned the basics of how to operate your craft.

Several schools make these classes available to you, including NJ Boating safely Classes , which is offering the class this weekend in Mays landing, and has classes coming up soon  in Linwood and Toms River.
