Renee Zellweger looks like a completely different person with her super line-free forehead, altered brow and puffy face, although she has never admitted to getting surgery.

The actress was photographed on the red carpet in Los Angeles on Monday night.

One cosmetic surgeon who has never treated Renee said he believes she may have had an upper eye lift because the distance between the brow and her eye is much smaller than before.

He also said her super-smooth forehead could be from Botox, and she may have had non-surgical treatments such as a medical facial and ultrasound therapy to firm up her skin.

Here is what one cosmetic surgeon believes she had done...

NOSE: Could have had a little nose job as bridge is more narrow.

EYES: Excess upper eyelid skin removed, opening up the eye but lowering the brow

FOREHEAD: Possible Botox and filler but NO face lift (her brows would be much higher)

LIPS: Also possible filler to make lips more pronounced.

CHEEKS: Upper cheek remains full from fillers while lower cheek fat is gone, either due to weight loss or surgical removal

Renée Zellweger responded to Internet chatter about her appearance. In a statement to PEOPLE, the Oscar winner says she looks different because she is healthier and happier than ever – and she's fine with people taking notice.

She says, "I'm glad folks think I look different! I'm living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I'm thrilled that perhaps it shows."

Calling the conversation about her appearance "silly," Zellweger says she is choosing to address it because "it seems the folks who come digging around for some nefarious truth which doesn't exist won't get off my porch until I answer the door."

"My friends say that I look peaceful. I am healthy. For a long time I wasn't doing such a good job with that. I took on a schedule that is not realistically sustainable and didn't allow for taking care of myself. Rather than stopping to recalibrate, I kept running until I was depleted and made bad choices about how to conceal the exhaustion. I was aware of the chaos and finally chose different things."

That healthier, slower-paced lifestyle – and her happy relationship with boyfriend Doyle Bramhall – helped her turn a corner. "I did work that allows for being still, making a home, loving someone, learning new things, growing as a creative person and finally growing into myself."

"People don't know me in my 40s. People don't know me [as] healthy for a while.

"Perhaps I look different. Who doesn't as they get older?! Ha. But I am different. I'm happy."
