It looks like baseball may be coming back to Atlantic City.

Mario Perrucci, a former Atlantic City Surf executive  is working with the president of the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball to bring another independent minor-league team to town.

And according to Atlantic City  Mayor Langford  "The city is interested in anything that makes sense."

Surf Stadium opened in 1998 and fell into disrepair after the 2008 season.

I use to love to watch the Surf play, especially at night with the Atlantic City Skyline in the background.

Are you looking forward to professional baseball coming back to AC?
