Power Outages Affecting South Jersey Due to Storms

According to Atlantic City Electric close to 1,508 customers are without power due to the severe thunderstorms form earlier this morning.  The number rises to 14,653 in Ocean and Gloucester counties.  There is no timetable on when power will be restored.

South Jersey still remains under a flash flood warning until 2:45 this afternoon. According to the National Weather Service lighting and heavy rain spread throughout the region due to a massive line of thunderstorms. Up to four inches of rain is possible in some areas.

The rain should taper off by this afternoon.
