Police Involved Shooting on Parkway in Bass River Claimed Life of NY Man
The State's Attorney General's Office has released the identity of the person who died as the result of a police shooting Saturday morning on the Garden State Parkway in Bass River.
The Attorney General's Office has identified the deceased as Maurice S. Gordon, 28, of Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

The shooting involving the New Jersey State Police occurred Saturday Morning at about 6:30am on the Parkway.
No other details of the shooting have been released.
The New Jersey Attorney's General's Office is conducting the investigation.
