Phillies Team of the Decade

The Phillies won the franchises second World Series in 2008, but the wheels quickly began to fall off following that run.

While the early part of the decade saw some some success, featuring many familiar faces from that 2008 team. Shortly after, age began to cripple the roster, forcing change, which started a rebuild, with new faces filling those roles and positions.

The front half of the decade saw some great times, with some great players and pitching, but the middle and back-end of the decade saw mostly down times. The team finished with a overall record of 787-833 (.485) and just two playoff seasons.
