Police in Mansfield are asking the public for their help in finding a suspect in a possible burglary case.

During the early morning hours on Sunday, February 11th, police were called to a residence on Millennium Drive in Columbus, New Jersey for a reported burglary in progress.

When police arrived, they found that the front window of the home was forcibly opened and someone tried to get into the home.

However, police say that the home was armed with a security system, and an alarm was triggered, scaring off the burglar(s).

Mansfield police say the homeowner stated they heard a car door shut, and the suspect(s) drove away.

Police obtained video from the neighborhood security cameras, and have released pictures of a vehicle they believe may be involved in the burglary attempt.
