A former homeless man from the Phillippines posts several karaoke- style videos of one of his favorite bands on YouTube and winds up getting an offer... to be the group's new lead singer.

You would have a hard time selling that far-fetched script idea to Hollywood movie producer. But that real-life story of Arnel Pineda is about to become a movie documentary.

Pineda's unlikely story will be told in "Don't Stop Believin': Everyman's Journey".  In 2007, Filipino singer Arnel Pineda became famous when he joined Journey as the band's new lead singer. The group found him on YouTube, where he had posted Journey covers. A documentary about Pineda has been in the works for years but it finally has a release date.

"Don't Stop Believin': Everyman's Journey" features interviews with the band and shows Pineda's road to fame, which included years of struggle and even homelessness as a teen.

The film drops in theaters and on demand in March.
