Join Eddie Davis from the Lite Rock Morning Show on Saturday, September 14th from 9-11am for the Beauty & the Leash Pagaent at Shore Medical Center in Somers Point!
Shore Medical Center, along with Somers Point-Community First will honor pet therapy dogs at Shore Medical Center and celebrate all canine cuties with a talent and beauty contest during Beauty & the Leash beginning at 10am on the lawn in front of Shore Medical Center along Bay Avenue.
Beauty & The Leash will begin with a Show Us Your Paws parade along Bay Avenue led by "R Dog" of Republic Bank in Somers Point. At the conclusion of the parade, there will be a ceremony to honor the pet therapy dogs, followed by the talent and beauty contest.
Dogs can be entered in the following categories: Owner Look-Alike; Talent; Beauty - small dog; Beauty - large dog. Winners will be awarded a trophy and celebratory biscuit. Representatives from Beacon Animal Rescue of Cape May and Atlantic Counties will also be at the event. Registration begins August 1st.
