Cape May Wine Festival Wraps Up Today

Looking for something to do to wrap up your weekend? How about checking out the Cape May Wine Festival, which  kicks off again today rain or shine at noon. 

The festival is located at the ferry, 1200 Lincoln Blvd., North Cape May — rain or shine.

“If it rains, we still pour,” according to Tom Cosentino, spokesman for the festival’s sponsor, the Garden State Wine Growers Association. Great line from Tom!

Did you know that New Jersey is the seventh in the nation in producing wines. This is according to the state Department of Agriculture. Two dozen New Jersey wineries will be participating in this year’s festival. 

This sounds like a great way to wrap up the weekend!
