Be a Hero Today in a Half-Hour…Give Blood

When's the last time you gave blood?  If it's been long enough that you really have to think about it, then it's time to give it again!

Every two seconds someone... in the United States needs blood.  44,000 units of blood are going to be needed today alone.  You really could be someone's hero today in about a half-hour.

The Atlantic County Red Cross is holding a blood drive today(Thursday 1/19) at their Pleasantville Donor Center at 850 North Franklin Blvd. between 12 -7p.m. It's open to the public.  Appointments are preferred by calling 1-800-448-3543.
