Get ready to get your Irish up, because the 2024 Atlantic City St Patrick's Day Parade is going to be a big deal. The biggest yet, according to Sonny McCullough, the parade committee president.

Here are five things you should know about this year's St. Paddy's Day Parade in Atlantic City.

When & Where Is the Parade?

The 36th annual St. Patrick's Day Parade is on Saturday, March 9 at 1 pm on the Atlantic City Boardwalk.

Who Are the Parade Grand Marshals This Year?

There are two Grand Marshals for this year's St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Steve Troiano, the owner of Margate's Maynard's Cafe is being recognized for the good work Maynard's has been involved with since opening in 1966, hosting countless fundraisers and giving back to the community.

The second Grand Marshal is that affable TV star of Frazier and Cheers, Kelsey Krammer,  because -- apparently -- there's a law that mandates that Grammer must be the Grand Marshal of every Atlantic City parade. Kidding....we love you, Kelsey.

Who is in the Parade?

The parade committee is expecting more than 70 floats, 80 acts, 9 string bands, four piper bands, and 3 French hens. All true, except that last one.

Who is Going to the Parade?

Sonny McCullough seems to think more people than ever before will be attending. He is estimating a crowd of 25,000 to 35,000 people. Last year's parade drew about 15,000 people, but the parade plans weren't finalized until the last minute.

What is the Route for the Parade?

The parade lines up at 500 Boardwalk, outside of Ocean Casino Resort, and moves down the Boardwalk to Albany Avenue.
