We're different in New Jersey.  We may have hard exteriors, but we take care of our own.  Like a family, we take pride in members of our family who do well.  Sometimes, someone in the family has to stand up and say something that needs to be said.

It's with that in mind that I send this message to Jon Bon Jovi and Richie Sambora:  Life is too short.  Let's get it together one last time for the family.

In a recent interview with People Magazine, Richie once again teased us with his desire to get the boys back together.  This is at least 3 or 4 times in the last couple of years that the subject of a reunion was brought up.

Then nothing.

For his part, Jon has said all the right things, and fans are left to figure out what caused the breakup 10 years ago.  Who cares anymore?

How many times have you been to a funeral, and told someone, "Let's not wait until the next funeral to meet up again?"  Sounds good, but we rarely follow through.

It's been nearly 40 years since the release of Runaway and none of us are getting any younger.  How cool would it be to celebrate this milestone by going for one more ride?

Like most in the radio business, I've had the good fortune of meeting both these guys several times through the years.  They are genuinely good people who are generous when it comes to those in need.  You don't owe the family anything, but we miss you.
