You’ve Heard of Junk in the Trunk? How ‘Bout an Owl Under the Hood? [VIDEO]

What the heck!  Here is something you don't see everyday.  A Florida woman was driving down the... south Florida turnpike when she struck something, but she couldn't tell what.

Turns out, it was a Great Horned Owl which became trapped in SUV's grill.

It wasn't until the NEXT DAY that relative tipped her off to "something in the grill" of her Ford SUV.he woman was shocked to see there two great yellow eyes peering out at her.

She called the authorities who freed the bird from the vehicle.

Luckily, the owl made it through its wild ride uninjured and will be released back to nature.
